AWI announces "Made-to-Measure" parts service

March 25, 2009 - AWI is pleased to announce the official launch of our "Made-to-Measure" (M2M) window parts kits. The M2M kit was developed specifically to address customer concerns regarding the cost and complexity of shipping small orders of fully assembled windows long distances. It allows dealers and customers who are comfortable working with acrylic products to order pre-cut InnerG window moldings and attachment brackets as a kit for local assembly and installation. Pre-cut molding lengths reduce shipping costs drastically, and can easily be fabricated into full windows with the use of a few simple hand tools and sheets of locally sourced acrylic. The M2M kit also includes a cutting schedule with the measurements of the acrylic sheet needed to fabricate your window to the exact size specified. Just hand this cutting sheet to your local plastic distributor and he will custom cut your acrylic sheet to the correct size.
